Alright...I downloaded this CD 2005 The Finest Acid
Tunes, or something like that. It has a couple of T.

It is pretty good, so I was wondering if there are any
good comps like this for 06, or even
The Atom Heart Pink Elln Live in Valparaiso Zurich releases on Zurich are
all you need IMO. I don't think there's anyone who makes better acid than Uwe
Schmidt today.

I've been really digging these two from last year:
Tin Man: Love Sex Acid (Keys of Life)
Tyrone Latrelle: Remote Drone EP (RZ)
Tin man's drifters acid is a little lighthearted romp through acid
wonderland as well. Not much lighthearted acid these days. Good sunrise
set in the mountains track. That love sex acid is md emotional and
deep. Nice call.

Hot. Not sure if I nailed the title though.

It might be worth noting that the genre of Acid is now 20 years old. It's
incredible to think that give or take a few dips here and there, a genre that
manifested from experimenting with a Bass emulator (? - sorry you have to
forgive my technical ignorance) is still going. There's something

Looks to me like Sun can't compare is gonna be
one of the biggest tune for all kinda djs (from cool
minimal djs like Luciano, to house djs...)...
I like it, everybody can sing it and have fun on the
dancefloor with this song... but the lyrics are way
*too* cheesy ;)

Yeah, they both released two records last year. The other Latrelle one is

all on Beatport too.

I totally agree.
I usually record at -3dB + normalize with wavelab. Actually with that
soft over the -2dB you have really bad clipping sounds.
When recording less than 3dB you have to use some comrpessor to make
sound louder, normalzing is not enough.

the last 3 loosefingers 12s all include acid jams that i find to be

the aesthetic that makes the chicago records

Awesome mix. Took this on holiday skiing in Switzerland, and the music
blends nicely with the dramatic scenery of the alps.
Got any more, Ronny?

I've let this thread go about 'recording to the computer' but it seems
like everyone is saying things that aren't strictly true. So here is
my 'best practice' for recording a DJ mix:
1. You have to record such that the loudest peaks of your audio do not
overload your computer's audio input.
Thanks Kent ... this is more or less the process I follow, and it
definitely works. However, I had no idea about mp3 introducing
distortion into audio normalized to zero, that bit of info is quite
useful.

Boom boom! I knew it was something to do with a freaking bus. Haha! It's
a really nice bubbly tune with these little droplet sounds and that
shuffle rhythm I love so much. Niceness.
