Before it was called the New Dance Show it was called ‘The Scene.’ It used to air right after public school ended around 3:00. This gives you an idea of who the show’s main audience probably was. It was filmed at Studio 94 (or was it Studio 95?) on Woodward Ave close to the Detroit Amtrak stop.
