Hi Minar,
Just a note here, NVDA amount is in Australian dollars, which is
approximately half of US dollars in trade value.
Also, coming to the significance of these certifications, I have not seen a
lot of jobs asking for these certifications, hardly a couple of them in the
last couple of years

on its official website, but I haven’t hear about NVDA exam and certification
before. Could you please tell me where can I get the information of NVDA exam
and certification and how can I give its exam? Thanks.

Hi team,
I have acquired 87 and 93 % in JAWS and NVDA exam respectively. I need
to pay $49 and $ 110 respectively for getting the soft copy/Braille
hard copy of certificates. My question is that is it worth paying this
much amount? How long these certificates will be valid? They have

Dear all,
Hope you all are doing fine.
My Jaws version is too old and needs to be replaced.
I've heard a lot about the free NVDA on this list.
Was wondering if its worth to purchase the latest version of Jaws. Or switch
to the free NVDA.
Is NVDA as good as JAWS in terms of its versatility and

Yes, I primarily use JAWS but sometimes need to launch NVDA when JAWS crashes.
NVDA still has less capabilities as compared to JAWS but I think they
can be fixed if lots of institutes for the VIs hammer them and make
the NV Access team aware.

Hey, dear Access India mailing list friends. Rather than just donating
to the NV Access team I think institutes who work at a large scale
should inform the NV Access team on the possible aspects where there
is room for improvement.
Please consider my suggestion.

Hey, dear Access India
Hi Ketan,
I regularly use the HDFC Bank website with jaws. I have also used NVDA on
that site. What specific problems are you having on the site? I agree about
supporting NVDA though. It is my primary screen reader on my netbook.
Having said the above, the screen reader X vs. screen reader Y
