You can get the public link even for a folder provided it is zipped.

there are 32 things that you should check:
1- does dropbox is being start with your system? to check this, go
to the system tray, do the right single click button , and look under
preferanses menu.
2- make sure that file you want to share is a single file, i mean, it
is a zipped file or a singl
