Re: [AI] railway ID card for differently abled not working
Hello, First of all, kindly check the language being used in your card issued. In my case, it was in hindi hence, the my name was also written in hindi. So after entering the details like name, card no. date of birth, date of expiry, category of passenger such as, handicapped or escort etc I was getting the error passenger name mismatched. But the error you mentioned seems to be about the wrongly entering format of card number as even I was entering one of my card digit as O assuming it to be 0. so kindly ensure to fill up the complete data which is started with alphabet indicating your zone, office code followed by your card number. The first alphabets might have been written in handwriting and then the serial number in printed format which you have to enter without providing any space between. You have to surely enter all the digits including 0. such as, in my case, my card number starts with sbbs as I belong to southern central railways then followed by 5 zero and then again the card serial number. Most importantly, kindly check your name as entered in PRS counter as in my locality, it has been observed that many of the candidate’s names were entered as initials in the PRS counter records. Actually, I have to struggle lot to get this clarified from the office of SR DCM and then from the chief commercial inspector in my locality. So I advise you to walk in to your nearest railway station and notify this concern to the commercial chief designated to that station and get the same clarified. Hope this helps. Re: [AI] railway ID card for differently abled not working
Hello! The on-line concession ticket booking depends on 4 things. 1. Your unique card number. 2. Your name as they have entered in there PRS system. 3. Your date of birth. and 4. Expairy date of your card. All the things should be correct. Then only your card will be validated. Your unique number is not the 6 digits number. It is a alpha nummaric code which contain your zone name and the city from which you made the card. For example, I made my card from Pune which belongs to Central railway. So my unique number starts with CRPUNE. Most important thing, we do not have to enter 0 in that number. It has no vallue at all. We only have to enter all the other number after zone name and city station code. I hope that I have not confused you. If so, Plese get in touch with me on my cell number so that I can explain you better. I know that I could not explain all the things in this mail. Fax No.23239690 Expression of Interest (EOI) EOI No.EOI/PDUIPH/2015/3 INVITING EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM ACCESSIBILITY AUDITORS Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India has launched the “Accessible India Campaign (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan)” as a nation-wide campaign for achieving universal accessibility for all citizens including persons with disabilities. One of the target under the objective of enhancing the proportion of accessible government buildings under nation-wide Accessible India Campaign is to conduct accessibility audit of most important government buildings in 50 cities of the country and converting them into fully accessible buildings. Access Audits are an important means of ensuring accessibility and must cover all stages of the process of planning, design, construction, maintenance and monitoring and evaluation. Pandit Deendayal Upadhayay Institute for the Physically Handicapped (PDUIPH), New Delhi an autonomous national institute under the Department, is the nodal organization of the Department for conducting accessibility audits as per the objectives of Accessible India Campaign through its empanelled accessibility auditors. In this respect, PDUIPH had floated Expression of Interest (EOI) to invite proposals from reputed and experienced NGOs/Individuals/registered societies/trusts from all over the country having adequate experience and expertise so that Access Auditors are empanelled to conduct accessibility audit of most important government buildings and prepare action plans for converting them into fully accessible buildings in a time bound manner to be monitored through a PERT Chart. Since sufficient number of organizations are not empanelled with the Department for access audit, the Department hereby seeks EOI from eligible organizations for conducting access audit. Eligbility criteria for selection of Accessible Auditors under Accessible India Campaign is as under:- i) Minimum two years’ experience and expertise of conducting accessibility audit. ii) Experience and expertise of conducting accessibility audit of at least 5 government buildings/public infrastructure. iii) Only such individual/organization having good track record in the field of disability sector. In case of organization, a minimum three years standing as a registered organization in the disability sector. The component-wise access audit rates are available on Department’s website www.disabilityaffairs.gov.in under the link Accessible India Campaign.
