[AI] National Award anounced: Congrats to Kartik and Madhu Singhal

2018-11-05 Thread Prashant Ranjan Verma
Dear all,

Just noticed that Govt. of India has put up the list of awardees on their
website.

On first look, the two very familiar names I saw are our Kartik Sawhney and
Madhu Singhal. Congrats, well deserved.

The inaccessible PDF list is available at -
http://disabilityaffairs.gov.in/content/viewpage/list-of-winners-of-national
-award-for-the-epwds--2018.php

Thanks,

Contact your bank in which you are having salary account. one or more
branches have been authorised to open PPF account there. no need to go to
post office.
Also if you have internet banking facility on your salary account, you can
open it online.

Try using Table Of Contents. This should be the second option on the top row
after Library.
But it depends on the way the file is really structured to be browsed
article-wise.

Subject: Re: [AI] What is the best way to access the browser Google chrome?

Hi, earllier I was having similar experiences while serfing the internet
with the combination of Jaws and google chrome.
However, recently, after I upgraded to jaws 18, and around one to two years,
google chrome has improved a lot, so, currently, It's the most comfortable
brouser I use regularly to access the internet.
Further, it is also fully compatible with NVDA and jaws both, with it's
large collection of shortkey keyboard commands, it's sufficient for me.
Further, earlier when I was using internet explorror, I was feeling internet
a big lagging, and like took longer time for loading of pages, when I
finally made my switch to google chrome, I have been more time saving, as
there is no much delay in pages loading and such.
Just thought to share my opinion and experience, I don't know about other's
opinion, hope some one could answer your question more extensively if my
answer lacks in anything.
Thank you.

Re: [AI] Accessible Fit Bit!

2018-11-05 Thread Rahul Kelapure
Hi, so far in my knowledge, there is no such accessible band. However,
I am using Mi Band-3, its not only economical with great battery life
but has good functions.

In terms of accessibility, the band itself isn't accessible but their
app Mi-Fit is reasonably accessible and all the details you can read
on the app including steps, sleep data and all.

Hope that helps.

Warm regards,

Rahul.
