[AI] Retrospect and prospect

Looking behind at the decade gone by and looking forward towards this new 
decade, my thoughts linger on a few aspects.
I invite you all to crystal gaze on what we can look forward in this decade.

We got the new RPD act. Railways have seen noticeable developments in 
accessibility. Banking has been a mixed bag with more accessible ATMS available 
to us but accessibility of Banking portals and apps has been inconsistent.

Currency notes has taken a nasty beating in accessibility.
 There are signs that coins may be now accessible. However I feel the role of 
currency notes and coins will give way to digital transaction in this coming 
decade.
Transportation by and large will become more accessible and friendlier to the 
disabled. Many more cities will have metros running.
We can look forward for Bullet trains and even hyper loop trains.

There would be drop in petrol and diesel driven vehicle with electricity driven 
vehicle taking its place and of course the self-driving cars would be a reality.

I anticipate that synthetic vision will to a good measure minimize visual 
disability.

I guess work related travel will be considerably reduced. Working environment 
will also see changes. I anticipate the working hours could shrink.

Some job types could be lost and hopefully newer ones will take its place.

Drones will be visiting us bringing all the essentials to us instead of the 
delivery boys.

I see serious concerns on privacy and it will be challenging to have control of 
our mind. Our mind will be highly influenced by technology and substances That 
independent thought and opinion will be an highly endangered specie.
The state and corporates will have a larger say and influence on us. This would 
not be desirable at all.

I feel even AccessIndia will have little need to be around and I don't think it 
could sustain over this decade.
These are my own thoughts and you are free to differ with all or any of these.

[AI] Continual Engine-Requirement For Visually Impaired/Low Vision Tester.

Dear Friends,

Continual Engine is an exciting start-up. This start-up aims to make
Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Accounting content accessible for
the blind. This is through the Artificial Intelligence (AI) INVICTA
Platform. The website for the same organisation is www.continualengine.com
 .

Continual Engine is looking for blind and low vision testers. This is to
test the alt text generated by  the INVICTA platform. The requirement is for
the following profiles:

a. 2  persons who are doing their B. Sc. Chemistry or have completed their
B. Sc. Chemistry.

b. 1  person who is in 11th standard, and is familiar with Chemistry.

c. 1  person who is familiar with Accounting. This person may have completed
or is currently doing B. Com., BBA or BA in Company Secretaryship. CA
intermediate profiles are also welcome for this role. 

d. 1  person who is doing B. Sc. Math or completed B. Sc. Math.

The assignment is for 2  weeks only. In each of these 2  weeks, the
assignment will be for 2  days of the week. A  sum of Rs. 1,000 per day of
testing will be paid for the blind or low vision testers with the above
profiles. The tester needs to have Jaws for Windows or Apple voice Over
screen reader at home on a  device for testing. There will be 2  rounds of
interviews over phone, after the resume has been screened. Depending on the
requirement there may be more assignments in the future for the blind/low
vision tester.

Hi, although I am not a registered financial planner but can help you with
some of the basics if you want.

My focus will mostly the on a financial plan according to the income and
using the accessible tools to achieve the same. I refrain from giving
specific equity or mutual fund name to go and blindly invest into.
