Re: [AI] help requested.

2023-04-15 Thread Harish Kotian

Hi

In case you are using NVDA, use it with addons disabled. For that you
can press insert q and in the option select restart with addons. It will
hold good for only that instance.

Secondly you can increase Ram to about 16 gb if it is possible

Thirdly you can also think of using SSD

If you OS is installed long back, you can consider reinstalling the OS.

Re: [AI] Pursuing partime degree in law from recognized university

2023-04-15 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafay
Bachellor program in Law is not offered as part time arrangement being
a professional degree which requires certain prerequisits as per Bar
Council of India legal education rules. Even if any of the university
is offering in part time mode, it will not get recognition from BCI
and one can not register himself for the practice of law. But there
are several law schools those are concerned only with the payment of
their fee and exam appearance , you will get a degree of law after
all.

RE: [AI] Using Bluetooth Keyboard with iPhone

2023-04-15 Thread Shek Mohammad Ali
It is totally waste of money if you ask me honestly. On both Android and iOS
for each swipe gesture there is a keyboard command. Either you can have a
Bluetooth keyboard or get respective lightening pin/cables and use any USB
keyboard. Personally I do not use external keyboard since Braille screen input
is sufficed on iOS for speed typing on and quicker navigation on home screen
and web pages.

Another great option which one could consider is Apple magic keyboard
 which
works excellent and have been using it with iPhone for over two years
 now.
Only thing I do not like about them is that it is pricy and definitely
recommend to someone who could afoard it.
 Thanks and regards

RE: [AI] Using Bluetooth Keyboard with iPhone

2023-04-15 Thread Shek Mohammad Ali
For your information I bought it during mid of 2021 primarily for connecting
storage devices.

As you might be aware, it will get heated bit and it is common in all the OTG
pins/cables.

I have one from LG at parents place of 14 plates, it is membrane panel with
Wifi connectivity with LG ThinQ integration. Which makes it usable for us.

I know of few friends using IFB and they say it’s accessible, but their service
wasn’t that qualitative earlier including spare parts availability. Not sure of
the current status.

[AI] Query Regarding Smart Glasses

2023-04-15 Thread Sana Samad
Dear list members,
I hope you all are fine and safe.
As you all are aware that there are many smart glasses available for
visually impaired in the market such as Orcam Eye Pro, Google Glasses,
Smart Vision Glasses, Etc. I am interested in purchasing smart
glasses. Before moving forward, I have some queries:
1. Which device is best and accessible with Iphone?
2. I am 100% visually impaired. I am having ROP stage IV. Based on my
disability which glass is suitable for me?
3. I want to purchase glass for improving my mobility, for navigating,
for identifying colors for reading handwritten and printed text and
for reading information/ bar code mentioned on the products. Based on
my requirement, which glass should I purchase?

I hope you will resolve my queries at the earliest and will help me in
taking smart decision.

Regards
Sana Samad, Delhi

Re: [AI] Pursuing partime degree in law from recognized university

2023-04-15 Thread Sana Samad
Sir,
I hope you are fine and safe.
National Law University, Delhi offers a course: LLM Professional
The objective of the course is to provide an overview of various laws
prevailing in the market so that the students are able to use the
knowledge in their professional carrier. It is 1 year course. Classes
are held online as well as offline. The main disadvantage of this
course is that you are not eligible to practice law after completing
this course nor you can teach as a law professor in any university. It
is divided into 2 semesters. In 1st semester overview and general laws
are taught. In 2nd semester students can choose any one stream such as
corporate law, criminal law, Intellectual Property Rights, Etc.
For more details you can check website of NLU Delhi.
I hope it will help.

Regards

Re: [AI] Any experience at Sanjivan hospital, bombay

2023-04-15 Thread Jaison Bellarmine
Hi friend,
I have heard aboutthe hospital and the treatment. The treatment is
based on acupuncture. The first sitting costs around Rs- 1 lakh and
subsequent sittings costs around Rs- 45K each. Each sitting is around
15 days long and it should be continued once in 6 months for about 2
years. The result is that there is marginal improvement in each
sitting. some has shared their experience as they could regain their
colour vision as well as clarity in seeing object. But at the same
time not much improvement in dim light vision. one of my friend told
me that he had taken acupuncture treatment in 2010 from an institute
in Delhi and after stoping the treatment he gradually lost his
vision. The above mentioned institute in Mumbai checks our vision
before and after each sitting and convince about the changes which the
treatment has brought. But it is yet to know how long the the vision
gain retains.
With regards,
Jaison Bellarmine.
