Hi, Honestly, this policy is kinda sad and not really worth having. probably just a sop, nothing more. daily room charges are covered only up to 1% and or 2% if ICU of the insured amount per day, the claims are max up to 50? your existing disability and conditions related to it are not covered before 2 years (could be wrong as I have given irt a rough read), worse of all there's a co payment of 20% minimum, that is assuming that your insurer would always be willing to pay 80% of the bill without any quibbles (no, they won't.) so in essence, not worth having at all. in an ideal world, we would be given access to the same policies as our sighted counterparts, barring the disability and conditions relating to it, which could perhaps have some additional premium to cover such things as well, but then pigs certainly can not fly, and so here we are stuck with a warm pile of bull excreta in the name of health policy. Star health product is more for grabbing headlines than solving the actual issues at hand. I personally don't think too highly of their claim settlement because of some previous experiences with acquaintances.
