hello George, I am using SBI Yono lite on iPhone and it seems fairly accessible. However the SBI yono app is inaccessible to a great extent. My experience with the iMobile app of ICICI bank is also good However, I cannot say the same thing about the android versions of these apps. Thanks and regards, Dr. Aruni Sharma. George, If you look at the June 2008 circular from RBI you will find many issues covered. If you ask people you will find that each of the issues are initially resolved and then again . For eg. 1. Opening of Bank account-this is primarily done and dusted but if we look around we still find cases of VI not being allowed to open a Bank account. 2. Mobile aps were initially rectified like Union Bank of India and then they became inaccessible. How many times and how many years are we going to fight the same battle. Although many of the sections seem to be quite accessible in SBI Yono light, The section relating to managing our debit card is completely inaccessible. Most of the fields in the above cited section are spoken together and clicking on them activates the first option. Needless to mention that the latest update of PayTM app has also figured out the same problem. On 2/10/20, Viraj Kafle wrote: > The registration process in Yono Lite SBI appears inaccessible. Asif, What kind of problems do you have with HDFC app? I have recently learnt that they have made HDFC apps significantly accessible. Amar Jain is in constant touch with HDFC so if you could share specific issues, he may let them know. Dear George, I use YONO Lite by SBI (fairly accessible), HDFC Mobile Banking (fairly accessible), HDFC Securities (accessible with screen reader but has several color contrast issues, SBI Smart - inaccessible, PhonePe - inaccessible and Google pay (accessible) Thanks for taking this up. Yes, POS terminals are inaccessible. Even for non-touch terminals, one used by Big Basket has very tiny buttons and often it is difficult to use.
