This is a generic error message that doesn't tell you anything but the
obvious, that something killed the session.
Can be caused by a network error, or a timeout, or a client problem.
Look at the TSM server log.

volume just delete it and run a new backup stg command from the primary to

For our company, Imation will replace the cartridges that are defective as a
result of Imation processing; on average, this was true for half of the
cartridges that failed. The only sticking point is that we must send the

I don't have access to these here so I'm asking again for feedback. We have
a lot of True64 clients and the guy who administers them says you CAN'T tell
what's excluded when you use the GUI. Seems awful odd to me but then I don't
have access so I can't argue with it. Anyone running True64 that
I don't have a True64 client to test, but FYI I have had weird results in
the past with the AIX gui if you don't have enough colors available for
your session. It's an X thing ...you would have to ask a UNIX heavy for
more info about how X works, I've never understood it (and hope I never have
