ORACLE seems to check if there already is an object with the name
it's going to use for the backup.
There once was a discussion on this subject so please have a look
at the archives of ADSM-L.

under Win2K, for sending SMTP mail, I am succesfully using freeware utility
Gbmail. It is command line utility, so there is no problem with using it in
scripts.

Another freeware tool which I am using is Postie, it works on NT, W2K and
even on Linux. This is SMTP tool, so you need only any working SMTP server
(Exchange, Domino ..etc.)
You can find it anywhere ... f.e. www.freeware.com

Lotus Domino, version 5.1.5 in order to have
full Domino R6 support.
You *may* be able to get the 1.1.2 version working,

our database. We are TSM 4.2.1.9 on AIX 5.1, a 3466-C00 with three full

Does TSM only backup files that existed at the start of the backup or does it pick up
files created during the backup as well?
