Look VERY closely at the volume serial numbers. The UD volumes that are less than the 500 series have a zero '0' in the third position. Ie UD0499. The UD volumes that are in the 500 series have an oh 'O' in the the third position. Ie UDO500. Guess you have two choices. Correct the labels or use

Hi David As I put in my post, I've checked that the paths are correct and online. Both drive34 and drive 35 have been used today by other processes. I've checked they are definitely empty with the 3584 web interface. There are no entries in the AIX errpt for them. Regards Chris

What happens during a copy is that any data that has not been copied is copied. So, for your example, the second copy on Tuesday morning will copy all files that have changed since the copy ran on Monday. Think of it more as a sync up than an incremental. For example, if a copy pool tape gets
