My Notes person emailed me about the Domino TDP archlog function seeming
to fail since the Domino server logs filled up.
When I check the dsmerror.log file, all I see are these messages:
11/02/09 00:18:13 ANS0278S The transaction will be aborted.
11/02/09 00:18:13 ANS1309I The requested data
Just a guess here...
Are these backups being sent directly to tape?
If not, was there enough disk space to hold all of the transaction logs
intended for backup?
If a tape was involved, were there tape drives available at the time of
backup?
Thanks,
Del

No on the tapes - all backups go to a disk LZ first.
Yes, there should have been plenty of free disk space in the LZ.
Checking the server logs, I see a scheduled migration that finished long
before this incident occurred and another automatic one kicking off this
morning at 2:40 due to 85%
Thanks Andy, very useful info for all of us!

Hello all,
TSM client version 6.1.2 is now available for Windows x32 and x64 clients.

Besides APAR fixes, this code level also includes support for:

Here's a different issue, ISC 6.1 running on Win2K3, TSM server 6.1.2,
browser running on WinXP SP3.
I created a new cloptset with exclude filters through the ISC a couple of
weeks ago.
When I try to modify the cloptset, either by modifying an existing exclude

THANKS Andy,
I have been anxiously been waiting for this since our windows folks are
rapidly deploying 2008 R2 servers. The previous clients work OK on the mapped
drives, but were unable to get the new systemstate or whatever it is called
now.

The DroboPro has ethernet, but the protocol is iSCSI (block-level) as
opposed to a file-level protocol (CIFS/NFS)
So it's not a NAS, even though it is technically network attached

The DroboShare is the product that will turn a Drobo into a NAS, but it
doesn't look like it works with the
