Richard thanks, When the volumes are updated to access=readwrite the commands seems to work and in the error it doesn't show much. It seems the tapes go offline fairly quickly, As soon as the request for a mount of the tape is made, At least that's the way it seems to me. Thanks again

Thanks Richard, We do have expiration and Reclaim running on the target server however when expiration and the reclaim process is still hung. I also other Windows/aix and Novell clients have ran successfully (so far at least), It's just puzzling that this one client has been a problem.

Hello, I am currently doing exports and some of the exports are large (in my opinion) and they are taking days anyone know how these can be sped up? Or its just waiting game? Also we can't leave the running overnight during backups because a least 2 times they have caused server the clients
