Avoid putting a paging file on a fault-tolerant drive, such as a mirrored
volume or a RAID-5 volume. Paging files do not need fault
it doesn't work that way. If you have a copypool volume that
is 20% full when you send it offsite, it's immediately a candidate
for reclamation. The manual warns that this may result in excessive
reclamation, if you're not careful.

against which OS or storage system mirroring will not protect. (I think

My question is: in recent versions of TSM, do page writes happen atomically
or not? I would like to use the mirroring in our Symmetrix, but if TSM is
still vulnerable to the problem of partial page writes invalidating volumes
I would have to use TSM mirroring.

be kept longer. You cannot get TSM to apply special rules just for file
A, the changes you make apply to *all* archived files with management
class MC_A.
