Upgraded my AIX TSM server to AIX 5.1 and TSM 5.2.1.3, about 3-weeks ago.
I get an email from a user about the TSM server not responding, during the
holidays.
I checked the server Activity Log and here is what I found for the time
frame in question:
01/02/04 01:33:24 ANR0403I Session 12878
Have you tried the 5.2.2.0 client ?
I just pulled them and they list Netware 6.5 as supported while 5.2.1.x
does not !

This seems to be a hot topic, so let me add another log to the fire.
We recently upgraded our test TSM AIX server to AIX 5.1. Then we upgraded
the TSM server to 5.2.0.0.
Unfortunately, I missed the part about having to upgrade ATAPE to 8.2.x
(it was still at 7) *BEFORE* upgrading TSM.
Yes we did. Rebooted numerous times. AIX says the drive is configured and
available.

Subject:Re: SGI client
The EXPORT command does it. I am currently running an EXPORT NODE TO
SERVER to move the data from one TSM server to another. This is the
command I used/the WEB GUI generated. What you are looking for is the
FILEDATA=ALL (or you can choose Backups, activebackups, archives, etc.)
EXPORT NODE
In my experience in various attempts at IMPORT/EXPORT, the numbers *NEVER*
matched. Always seemed to be a small (1-10 bytes) difference.

Subject:Re: Catalog Size and large
We have an AS/400 system we would like to backup with TSM.
We read that the OS/400 we have is downlevel so we have ordered and
scheduled an upgrade of the OS.
However, now there is the issue of BRMS !Is is absolutely required ?
When I read through some of the readme files, the only software
