I've been running a backup of a SQL server db but I took too long so I increased the
stripe-parameter to 2 so it would utilize 2 sessions and 2 tape drives for the backup.
However when the backup starts both sessions wants to write to the same volume,

particular strange thing I have seen is the following with a q mo;

I can't give you specific TSM mod 27 experience, but we use
mod27's heavily on our 800 for DB2 and it screams. No performance
problems, but you should know we are using dynamic PAV's. I would have no

a point in time. In our case VIA a SAN to another robot.
We keep the full backup + any incremental within the local robot to avoid
