Hi,
You will need a manager account in order to access the API Center. You can
create one by following the steps listed in the article:

Hello,
My name is Matt and I work alongside Xiaoming. For more information on minimum
requirements for basic access, please reach out to the API compliance team. Our
team does not have the authority to grant API access.
Thanks,

Hi, thank you for your response.
Well I will consider your advice. I would also have one more question. Is
it possible to upgrade to basic access with a low expense history? Also,
how much history is required to upgrade to basic access?

Hi Webte,
Thank you for reaching out. In order to access the API you have to use the
developer token. However, it’s not necessary to apply for one and in some cases
you won’t be granted one either. So my suggestion is to contact your
advertising agency or MCC account holder to ask for the use
Hi David,
Thank you for reaching out.
The developer token can only be found by logging in to your production manager
account > Tools & Settings > Setup > API Center. From there, you will be able
to see your developer token.
Let me know if this does not work for you and provide me your manager
Hello Mohammad,
It is not possible to change your client account as manager account. You have
to create a new manager account from here as specified earlier. If you are
facing any concerns while following that link please let me know.

It's been 4 days since I've sent the customer id privately to the supporter
but no update has happened. Can any one help me?
I want my customer to become manager and it's the only user of the account
so there can be no other manager.

Hello Mohammad,
To confirm whether you account is a production manager account you could check
below:
For a Test account you will be having red label with Test on top right corner,
if you don't see that label your account is a production account.
By clicking on the question mark on top right
But my problem is that the manager I have is the only user of that account.
I can't understand why the only user in the account doesn't have production
access to view your option. If I create new manager would it be production?
Or should I do something special?

Hello Mohammad,
To have the API center option, you must have production manager account. You
could create a new manager account from here. Please use incognito window while
creating the manager account to avoid unwanted auto logins.

Hi,
When you have signed up and have created your MCC, the API center should be
visible in your MCC AdWords account. So I can further investigate, could
you provide to me the account ID of the one in your screenshot?
You may reply to me privately using the *Reply privately to author* option.
Phillip,
I've responded to you in the other thread. Let's continue the conversation
there.
Cheers,
Ray
