I have had local interference on a couple of my clocks before, usually after 24 hours and a nighttime period it syncs up just fine. Computer noise can be a problem on those receivers. If they defund WWV I don’t think they realize that most of that staff still needs to be there for the

WWVB is solidly supported by the guvmnt. No worries about that signal. I thought it was 60 KHz. In any event you can pick it up almost everywhere. You should not have to wait more than a half hour for a clock to lock on. You might have a bad clock or something in the environment making the

For all my grumbling we're doing it too, and I'm seeing other companies our size doing it. Just like cable, I'd bet eventually some larger company will buy up all of the smaller ones.  Maybe it'll be Amazon.  Or Google Fiber part 2: The Return. On 1/10/2020 1:25 PM, Chris Fabien wrote:

Licensed microwave manufacturers tend to play leapfrog. At any point in time, one of them is leading on performance, features, or price. A year later, another is in the lead. The good news is mostly they all work well and perform as advertised. Occasionally one of them goes out of business.
