I watch America's Test Kitchen, and they reviewed real vanilla extract
versus the synthetic, and it was their opinion that a decent synthetic
was indistinguishable from the real deal; especially when it's mixed in
a recipe. They had a favorite synthetic, but I don't remember what it was.
