You can run Ubiquiti gear backwards. In other words, you can power Ubiquiti with a Canopy POE without frying it. You cannot power a Canopy with a UBNT POE though, without swapping the cables. It has always been this way, so they must have the same auto-sensing power on the AF5X units as well. O
