The 450d is a standard 5GHz 450 SM board, internal patch antenna and all, which

The new wideband 5GHz SMs as noted will do 4940-5925. Uncapped. Uses the 450i

Re: [AFMUG] Baicells

2017-06-09 Thread Mathew Howard
Yeah, that stuff doesn't apply if you aren't using the bridge mode. We had
a similar issue with our first eNB. I don't remember exactly what the issue
was, but Baicells did something to it remotely to get it working... they
said something about it being an early unit that needed something updated.
Probably quickest to just email support and let them figure it out for you.

Re: [AFMUG] OT Music

2017-06-09 Thread Darren Shea
Back when George Harrison’s Cloud Nine album was pretty new, my first wife
put “Got My Mind Set On You” on endless repeat. I think I lasted with that
going for about an hour before I snapped…

It could have been worse – at least that was a decent song on a great album.

Re: [AFMUG] new Cambium 450 CPE's

2017-06-09 Thread George Skorup

Free license keys? Yeah, not gonna happen.

The 450d is a standard 5GHz 450 SM board, internal patch antenna and
all, which simply feeds the horn/sub-reflector assembly.

The new wideband 5GHz SMs as noted will do 4940-5925. Uncapped. Uses the
450i SoC architecture. GigE. 30VDC passive POE and is polarity agnostic
like the Force180's and 200's.

450b is Force180 style. I forget what the Force200 style 450 will be called.

Re: [AFMUG] VOIP Providers

Others have mentioned voip.ms... I am extremely happy with them.
Unlimited LD, good E911, easy porting, low per-minute rates, around
$1.50/mo fixed cost for a ported number. I provide these "free" to my
friends and neighbors, in exchange for the occasional sixpack.

I would port my local 801-789 numbers to the VOIP provider.

We need unlimited LD and solid 911. Would prefer someone local.
So, before I give XMission a call I thought I would put this out there.
