Well, sync is kind of a significant thing to have...

But yeah, there probably isn't a lot of advantage to ePMP over UBNT if
that's all you're using it for... but why M series and not AC?

2016-06-23 Thread Craig Schmaderer
Kurt I agree with you. I think epmp and ubnt both have their place and work
well in a lot of situations but i have come to love 100 and 450 stuff so much i
just rarely use anything else. When we install a 450 customer we know what we
are going to get and we never go back. Just works great. Cost more but happy
customers and less truck rolls makes me sleep easier at night. Plus i still
have 70% of my network on pmp100 yet making great money now for 10 years. Is
it normal to have 70% of your network with 10 year old ubnt gear (dont remember
when they came out with their first cpe gear)? How many times have you
replaced that equipment? Whats your roi on that?

The airprism models work better with interference. The background frequency
scan helps a lot with troubleshooting without kicking the whole sector. 11ac is
faster than 11n. So if 450 is to expensive I would not go epmp it is based on
old 11n chipset.
