Nope.

You could use the beehive SL dish with a holder for the ePMP. That at
least would fit on the same 1-5/8 mount.

Gino...what takes up all the time in that swap? Seems like you'd just
remove the old dish, slap on the force100 dish, smoke a cigarette, and
go home.

Can't you use an epmp integrates on the 100 dish???

The point is that when you have different dishes… the common denominator is the

For the KP dishes, have you checked with them, I’ll bet you could just buy new
holders. I would still count on touching up the alignment, at least the
vertical.

I think we are a bit like Gino; we have a mixture of dishes and stingers
depending on location.ï¿1Ž2 Some original 27RD dishes, some early CLAW dishes,
and even some KP dishes.ï¿1Ž2

It would be nice if we were able to re-use all or even most of them with a
different attachment method on ePMP.

Not expecting to re-use the stingers.ï¿1Ž2 How far can a naked ePMP Sm go?

If I remember the photos someone (maybe you?) posted of the inside of
an ePMP, wasn’t it a multi element patch? That’s probably not going to be
optimal for illuminating a reflector dish anyway. So probably the Force
 models get better performance.

Cambium does have a product with the same SM form factor as FSK, it even
has tone alignment (except in 13.3 FW), just a little more expensive than
 ePMP.

For the KP dishes, have you checked with them, I’ll bet you could just
buy new holders. I would still count on touching up the alignment, at

It would be nice if we were able to re-use all or even most of them with a

If you remember the Trango multipoint days, think FOX and FOX-D. Then they
stopped selling 2 models with the ATLAS-FOX and you had to use a Trango Stinger
because the antenna gain of a bare SU was something pitiful like 6 dBi.

Some people claimed a Ubiquiti Loco was better with a dish than a Nanostation,
but it still wasn’t optimal, I think it was a 4 patch array so it still didn’t
use the whole surface of the dish.

If there is no truth to that, why wouldn't you design it to work with the same

It's also a strange coincidence that CTI's ptmp offering that could

Mike - It certainly wasn't me that you talked to although it doesn't seem
to matter what I say. Something about governments, companies and stuff and
some folks wanting design documents. But you are right, ePMP is something
where we see it as an opportunity to do things differently. We make
mistakes no doubt but at least we know we tried and fix it as quickly as
 possible.

Josh, you are missing the whole point… I know this, but that combo dosnt
yield good gain… maybe 15-16db total gain at best… also you need special
 adapters for it to work.

We need a direct replacement, remove SM, put Epmp like unit

Dude you can use the 27rd or KP reflectors with EPMP. I believe the force
 110 is better gain though.

If I remember the photos someone (maybe you?) posted of the inside of an ePMP,
wasn’t it a multi element patch? That’s probably not going to be optimal for
illuminating a reflector dish anyway. So probably the Force models get better
performance.

Cambium does have a product with the same SM form factor as FSK, it even has
tone alignment (except in 13.3 FW), just a little more expensive than ePMP.

The point is that when you have different dishes… the common denominator is the
SM form factor!

Why cambium or anyone else has developed a simple bracket with a dual pol
patch so we can put a conn. Epmp there and just swap a Canopy SM with this
contraption

My techs could do a swap in 5 minutes instead of 30-45 min
