I'm suspicious, if a burst of just fan and a second of clock down is
enough... it is stupid thermal regulation. It could be even unreliable,
that is shutting down too early, sicne sometimes it never does!
I also fear that this way performance is suboptimal.

sorry for the late reply -- it looks like NIS/YP is not running, or not
exporting the users to the worker nodes for some reason. Can you try
running this on the master node (after creating the users with `adduser`)
and see if it fixes the problem?

And even the “normal” stealing link doesn’t work (same NPE) with our plugin
code.
I don’t know which is the best way to investigate further.
So, unfortunately, I cannot say if this fix fits or not our needs since I

Hi all,
I just pushed to git a micro-fix to avoid the sleep() function freezing
gretl.
Try for example
sleep(-1)
sleep(0.1)
now it's fixed (the first case is equivalent to sleep(0)).
