Probably most people developing or using these systems is on this

trying to run latest on it.

unfortunaly I have no idea to how to to that (I have a very basic knowledge

But since the PWS is still sending the value "2" every minute (60 seconds
is the weewx polling time), the db value is still increasing counting 120
hits in an hour.

now that you told me, I checked on two consoles with and without sudo.
It is indeed the combination of sudo & first console.
does it have consequences to change constty to ttyE0? loosing "console"

Pyparsing upstream finally made the v3.1.2 release the other day with the
fix. So I guess once that lands in unstable it should be ok.

I have the issue below, python upgrade conflicts with its modules.
Usually I jsut remove these modules and retry, but here the dependency
tree is borader.
What's the best to handle this? Beyond hating the python hell.

this is an issue specific to the Mac code path, so not directly comparable.
I checked XPCShellEnvironment.cpp, there is no direct inclusion of
MacTypes.h
