Hey. I don't use that programme. I used to, back in my XP days. It might have made a small difference occasionally, but what with the registry becoming more and more complex and personal changes already being revoked occasionally by windows updates, plus almost all tech columnists/books advising

Argh, yes, that would be terrible indeed. So far I've only noticed this with both Winamp and VLC. Everything else seems to load normally, but if it's happened to these programmes, whose to say it won't spread! Very strange. I did note that installing the VLC update seemed to fix that
