First, I'm absolutely NO guru at this. HOWEVER, I noticed your LSMOD. If you would, you might try looking at this: cd /proc cat interrupts I believe there is a good chance you may find your USB and your 3c5x9 and your sound card all on the same IRQ. Not that this *should* be a problem, but
