I'm trying to setup my midiman usb midisport 4X4. The driver seems to be
installed correctly:

I am still not getting the codec to work correctly with the Via 686
driver,

getting codec detection errors.

Latest CVS works with bass. :) At least in stereo. Any ideas on how to get it to use
the center channel and then double to the back speakers? (In windows, the driver
mirrors the front channels to the back when you have stereo only, and does something
with the center... not quite sure
