I've submitted official bug reports.. is anyone working on this or am I
wasting my time and should discconnect it from the parallel port and
just connect via multiple usb MIDI interfaces into the mtpav rack?
(I can't actually swap for an m-audio or edirol as they don't have the
routing

I just tried opening a file with multiple ports assigned to the mtpav.
It locked the system.
This repeated in testing again. However if opening assigning a port to
the mtpav prior to opening a file it worked perfectly.

Further testing with MusE comparing sync performance with snd-usb-audio
compared to snd-mtpav, shows that output sync definitely isn't being
sent properly to the device.
