I have an agere systems hda modem on my laptop. It
accessible through alsa.
I have installed the last version of slmodemd, compiled with
alsa. I alsa installed alsa 1.0.11, which has full support
for the modem.
If I write aplay -l the modem is correctly identified as
card: 0,
Interestingly enough, this problem also started about the time I got the
fglrx driver working.
