Help w/ Solaris

Have had amanda installed and successfully backing up Linux redhat boxes for months now, just tried to include a Solaris 2.8 box and have run into a problem that I can't seem to resolve. I want to back up the /usr directory (it is not a partition). I get the following message: /usr/ lev 0 FAILED

In linux I have been able to get amanda to do specific directories, can I not do that on a Solaris box? Are you specifying dump or tar? -Mitch
