Hi Benny, Does your amavis come from a distribution or package? The amavisd.conf in the source code does not include a log_templ. The amavisd.conf-sample does have an entirely commented out log_templ, and the amavisd.conf-default indicates: # $log_templ = ... built-in default at the end

Hi, I just noticed that two almost identical amavisd-new installations have wildly different memory usages. The only difference is that one system is i386, whereas the other amd64. On i386, top reports: VIRT RES SHR CODE DATA SWAP nFLT %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 58660 52m 5176 1024 46m 4700
