I don't think that is the point the poster was making.
IMO Thomasz is an exceptional developer. AB is getting better and

I'd say Amibroker, I have tried both, as well as tradestation and

The length and complexity of the code provided in Trader's Tips section in

AmiBroker's code is usually the shortest.

Hi all,
I've been checking on my historical database which was recently updated and
notice that the Volume is missing 2 digits (two zeroes). Alot of stock that
have a volume of over 1M shares now have 100K. Anyone experiencing the same
thing in their quote editor?
e.g. AAPL, Volume 307,336
Hello,
The volume is now divided by 100 and it is expressed in HUNDREDS of shares.
(for NEW installations only - old installations (upgrades) are not affected,
unless you install
AmiQuote separately)
It is controlled by
$VOLFACTOR 0.01
entry in aqh.format file
This is to prevent trunaction
Thanks Ara,
Also, what is the best way to remove the stocks with .OB from the database?
I tried using Organize assignments and use the delete key but I still have
.OB stocks in my database.
thanks again

I use to lose data with IB. The non-problem is that sometimes when you save

not get saved.
A while back there was a post that said before you save your database at the
end of the day, run a simple scan across all of yor

I just looked at your list of tickers, they appear good to me including volume.

You can bring ^TNX and ^IRX into AB directly, just download them like

I'm new to AFL, but I've done some coding.
would you loop through the stocks collection, then for each stock,
would you then loop through the quotations and update as necessary
according to your formula? Or is there some sort of bulk array
command for this?
