Hi Art,
I've got a BBQ Grill too, but used a 3 1/4 turn helix for a feed. I was able
to work AO-40 at apogee with it. Definitely a nice system.
How big is your dish? I've not seen a Grill antenna much bigger than the one I
currently have, and I'm told it's not big enough for 1.2 ghz
Maybe he was thinking of one of these..

Hi Mariano; I stand corrected! I concur that some Americans here in the
states were caught accessing the satellites. What is their motivation?
What dialect are they speaking?

Hi!
A couple of years ago, the Brazilian authorities arrested many of these
satellite pirates. A Brazilian immigrant in New Jersey was also arrested
for illegally using these military satellites. I remember seeing this article
around that time:
Where are you located? Basically, you have to pass an examination conducted by
your national authorities and obtain an amateur radio operator's license. With
the license comes an assigned call sign. It is that call sign that you use
when operating using the amateur satellites.

are now on sale!
Many thanks, and 73, Howard G6LVB

To get a callsign:
1. Get an Amateur Radio license.
2. When license is received in the mail . . . .
3. Post license on wall of ground station.

Dear amsat
Tom,
I believe you can use 2 different rigs. There is a code on the 910 that
allows the second rig to be controlled by SATPC32. Look at the help info
of the program and it will explain what you must do. Anyone else have done
this already? I just came across this when I had to reset my IC-910
Thanks to all who worked me or tried to work me today from the
Slovakia/Hungary/Austria joint border. It was fun, but a lot of work for just
seven contacts.
I had wanted to work from this spot for several years. I used to work in
Bratislava, Slovakia, live in Rajka, Hungary, and have dinner
