Yes. I use it on my Linux system, and it just works.
Or in other words, it doesn't get in your way while operating.
It doesn't override adjustments you make to the frequency on the
radio unlike for example HRD.

Kev,
AO-16 is not currently working.
There is a problem with the watchdog timer in the satellite. While a ground
station (usually Mark, N8MH) can command the satellite into the FM/USB repeater
or bent-pipe mode, the watchdog resets the satellite within 30 seconds.
It was working for a period
I logged a total of 34 contacts (some dupes and can't read my writing on one

This coming weekend, the Platinum Coast Amateur Radio Club Society (PCARS) will

So here we are again, Amsat shows the ISS in the right spot but the keps it
gives out for automatic updates are around 6 minutes off again. I know about
the boosting and why they are off, just dont ubderstand WHY they are good on
the online tracker and not anything else?

I'm only guessing--but---I bet that online tracker is using keps
updated daily (from Celestrak or SpaceTrack), while the posted keps
for downloading are only posted once a week or so.

Kevin,
The NASA.ALL Keps are issued and updated weekly, normally Friday, as they
have been for literally decades. The on line tracker widget gets Keps
directly, and so will be as up to date as Celestrak and Space Track. Two
different systems, and purposes, which is why there is a difference.

Hi Mike,
I don't use it to control my radios, as I have a custom set of interfaces. I
use predict (the text-based one) as the IP server for a homebrew CAT driver,
and I modified the predict source so that it output the proper strings for
Az/El control. Gpredict supports all the pass
