Today when I updated KEPS they date changed in Standard but not in Groups
Diverse. AO 73 lives in my GROUPS DIVERSE. Why?

Alan,
I think he followed Erich's instructions the other day, which would pit it

As per instructions AO 73 was entered under Groups / Diverse. I am sure
that it updated before because it has a date of Dec 7 2013.
The Standard and ISS updated today Dec 10 13, but Diverse did not update.
That is all I can tell you

Dave, Les,
The current Celestrak file TLE-NEW.TXT still has primarily yesterday's Keps,
including AO-73. No
doubt an update will be available soon. The various files from Celetrak are
not updated
simultaneously which explains why the others did.
For now, the SpaceTrack data is:

Might I ask what sort of preventative maintenance did you perform each year?

Can that block be treated with a non corrosive lacquer? Sun and weather
does a lot of damage.
Gulf Alpha is no longer producing their OSCAR antennas.

I'm neutral on this topic, but I was curious if the M2 Manual mentioned
anything about maintenance. Here are the instructions:

There is no mention of maintenance. Of course, it would be a good idea
to check things out regularly. But, depending on

In the Hampton Roads area, a NAVY town, we use the old NAVY way:

Great seal!
I am prepared to consider that this is an anomaly. Have a look here:

I have the short pair. Holding up well. They are about 15 years old. Loved

Try changing step size to 0 in the CAT menu. Sometimes it is working but not

Actually, the M2 antennas don't need weatherproofing. The polarity
switching cable/ transformers and baluns are made of RG-6 gel filled with
commercial compression connectors. This stuff should be bulletproof.

Or, you can use the really cheap black plastic tape for weatherproofing. That

Such tape was provided by Decibel Products, and other commercial two-way
