I added it to the trunk but I await review for it to come in the 0.97
branch (plus I would have to find out how to do it so if it's ok,
please add it to the release branch.

you're right about alt-tab, didn't think of it, I rarely use that...
'bye bye iconchange', humm, iconchange seems to be a good name for a plugin.
You should think of adding the
event soon if you want it to work for the 0.97 release.

I'll remove this right away as I don't want an advanced option for

anyways, about sane defaults, I'd say remove it for multiple reasons :
1 - icon would be too small to recognize + quality loss could make it just seem
like an abstract painting :p
2 - what if it

In my filosophy (spelled wrong ?) it's better to choose sane defaults

I meant "dock" instead of "tray" ... but as it's one icon for the
whole app I think it's best to not change the dock icon for the active
chat DP as it wouldn't make it better (no different items to
extinguish) and make it worse to find amsn (as the icon wouldn't be
always the same).

There isn't a tray on OS X. We've got a dock with open applications
or applications to launch, but it's not like the windows one.
Currently right clicking on the icon gives a contextual menu with all
open windows (clicking on the item raises the window), but not the
open tabs.

OK, this is a test if you like it. it seems to make it easier to find
chatwindows you recently used in a window manager's windows list. (as
in it was covered byu a window and you can more quickly find the image
related to the person (especially if he or she doesn't change those
images too often)
Just backported in branch...
I wondor for Scapor modification...
Author: scapor
Project:amsn
Revision: 8782
Changed Lines: 61
tryout: winicon is changed to DP of user for chatwindows to easily find
chats in windowmanager listings.OK or not ?

Yeah, you reminded me of something...
Most 'common problems' with tcl/tk are the "lists theory", substitution theory,
and command theory.
In short, the 'lists theory' is that everything is a list, and tcl works a lot
with list manipulations.
substitution theory is that, if I do "function $arg" t
