I asked our server admistrator to increase the Accept Timeout parameter in our server config files to 3 seconds (up from the default of 30s). He said he had already done this months ago. Thats 500 minutes. Analog takes up to 8 minutes to process our 2 1/2 GB log files. I'm not positive

[analog-help] Analog errors out unless run in debug mode

2000-10-03 Thread Cindy_Walker
We have Analog 3.3 installed on most of our web servers (Netscape Enterprise Server 3.5.1 on Irix 6.5). Almost always Analog gives the message "OK an error has occurred". I found that when I run Analog in debug mode it successfully produces reports every time. You can see this for yourself if

When I select October ("current month" in my drop down box) I get results too. We're only on the third day of this month. Try September or August. Those files are 2 1/2 GB each. What seems to happen is that in the early days of a month we can get reports, but at a certain point the only

Would you mind if I asked you how to do this? Separate log files isn't what happens by default on our server (NES 3.5.1 on Irix). There doesn't seem to be a way to force it to keep separate log files either. When you set up a hardware virtual server, NES only asks for the IP address and

We have several "hardware virtual servers", but our log file treats requests for http://www.otherdomain.com the same as requests for http://www.domain.com. It records virtual domains identically to requests for the main page. I can't see how Netscape Enterprise Server (3.5) can be configured

[analog-help] SUBDIR command not working correctly

When I try to run analyze for a subdirectory using the form interface, analog doesn't display the directory report the way it would make sense. For example, it lists 4048499: 100%: /hq/ when analyzing for the /hq/* subdirectory no matter what SUBDIR commands I put in the form. Obviously

O.K. now I have analog.exe in D:\analog\ , the same drive as our cgi-bin directory is in. All the language and image files are in subdirectories under that. Now it can find analog.exe, but I get this message: \analog\analog.exe: Warning F: Failed to open configuration file analog.cfg:

[analog-help] Forms interface on NT

I'm trying to set up the forms interface on an intranet server that runs NT. When I submit the form I see this message: "The system cannot find the path specified. Analog failed to run or returned an error code. Maybe your server's error log will give a clue why. " Does anyone know what path
