i'm using an htc dream (g1) on att. i bought a used t-mobile version and paid the $15 to unlock it. note that the g1 doesn't do 3g on att. t-mobile and att use different 3g bands :( in the US, there aren't many options. if you don't want the dream, you can pay +$500 for an unlocked HTC magic,
