*Data Scientist – Machine Learning* role is part of NEXT.ai Center of
Excellence (COE) and individual is expected to champion development and
deployment of machine learning models. Good Experience on Data Science is
key requirement for this position.  Individual is expected to proactively
plan, design and develop end-to-end advanced Predictive Analytics Models
relevant for the business. In addition individual is expected to contribute
in technology thought leadership initiatives, whitepapers and Industry
Forum Participation.



*Responsibilities:*

· Design and Develop Machine Learning Models using RStudio/Python

· Deployment and Monitoring of ML Models

· Demonstrate early success in Machine Learning Model Development
using rapid prototyping

· Continue to build domain and knowledge base  relevant for Data
Science in industry areas like Medical, Automotive, Aerospace and
manufacturing (indicative list)

· Understand business context, study related data sources, build
descriptive statistics, and develop machine learning (ML) models.
Evaluation and finalization of alternate analytical models suitable to the
business is key success metric

· Mentor and guide data scientist(s) in  building analytical models

· Contributing to recommendations on predictive / analytical
modeling products, services, protocols, and standards in support of
solution development

· Work closely with Solution Architecture  and Software Engineering
team in building high quality AI  solutions

· Publish whitepapers, participate in Industry Forums related to
Analytics and filing patents



*Qualifications: *

· Master’s in data science and *at least 5-year experience in ML*

· Experience in ML model development and deployment for large scale
data

· Good Understanding on Deep Learning algorithms like CNN, LSTM,
DBN, RNN (indicative) and in Deep Learning Platforms like
Tensorflow/Keras/Theano/CNTK (indicative)

· Ability to prototype AI  applications using cognitive Analytics
technologies in close collaboration with  Solution Architecture and
Software Engineering teams

· Prior Analytics experience in any one Industry (or more)
healthcare, automotive, aerospace, consumer products and manufacturing
(indicative list)

· Experience in solving client's analytics problems and effectively
communicating results and methodologies

· Proven ability to rationalize disparate data sources and the
ability to intuit the large picture within a dataset

concurrency, spinlocks, semaphores and inter-process communications in a
Linux OS environment.

· Broad knowledge of release engineering: build, integration,
deployment and provisioning.

· Working Experience with source control tools such as Git and
Yocto build system is strongly recommended.

· Use specialized release processes to supervise and approve all
generic and device specific features + fixes coming to the release branch.

· Knowledge and experience with network protocols and stacks TCP,
UDP, SNMP, IPv6, IGMP, Gateway, VoIP protocols, DSL, PON

· Preferred knowledge in any of the Build/Release technologies such
as:

oSCM Tools: Git, Gerrit, SVN

oBuild tools: Jenkins

oScripting and languages: Python, C/C++, Shell Scripts

oJira or other defect tracking tools.

· Experience with the following is beneficial but not mandatory,

· Develop software for real time embedded systems using Embedded C
in RTOS and baremetal platforms.

· Develop software integration test protocols against docs & code
design input for embedded handheld battery operated medical device &
execute them as per process defined for Medical device SW development.

· Perform code level regression analysis (in C & C++) with
knowledge of custom HW design to plan for integration testing

· Develop software verification protocols and execute them to test
against the software requirements as per process.

· Actively participate & provide comments in requirements, design &
code review meetings

*Job Title: Software Engineer - *QNX*/BSP-BT drivers*

*Location: Detroit, MI*

*Duration: Long Term Contract*



*Mandatory:*

· 8-10 years working experience on Linux, Kernel debugging and
developing Device Drivers preferably on Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, Gyro, Touch Pad,
I2C, SPI, UART or I2S audio.

· Automotive expertise on using MOST Interfaces or EAVB Automotive
grade ethernet related technologies.

· Hands on Linux application development and scripting expertise (
preferably Java script and python)

· QNX Development / Porting experience from One version to other

· Proficient in *C, C++*

· Knowledge in *AUTOSAR*

· Hands on Programming low level drivers

· Knowledge of basic communication protocols like I2C, I2S, SPI,
USB etc

· Knowledge on memory devices like flash- NOR, NAND(eMMC)

· Should be able to work with minimum set of tools

· Display drivers, porting and integration experience

· OS concepts, very good debugging skills



*Preferred:*

· Scripting knowledge and file system knowledge

· CAN, Diagnostics and Vehicle communication Protocol experience

· IPC working experience

· Understanding on HAL and HMI Experience will be a plus.

· Expertise using the tools like Git, Jira, Confluence.
