Grazie a te, Silvia, per aver segnalato il problema e perdona il mio sfogo.
In Apertium ci dedichiamo fondamentalmente allo sviluppo di traduttori
automatici per lingue con poche risorse (tipicamente lingue
minoritarie/minorizzate). Nel caso dell'italiano, abbiamo rilasciato il

I'm a bit surprised that Apertium's eng-ita is used anywhere since it is
not released. But I am even more surprised that Wikimedia uses a
non-released pair while it is not using even some of the released ones. In
fact, I have been asking Wikimedia without any success for several years to

'to give birth'. The correct translation is 'per'. Is it possible to fix it?

Dear all,
I went to beta.apertium.org because I wanted to easily showcase other
people the lemmatization that can be achieved with Apertium. So, I tried
to use the "morphological analysis" on that web server, but it gives
"error" as an output (My interest was for Aragonese and Catalan, but it

Hi,
It takes some practice to read error messages. This one says that it
failed to parse somewhere on/after line 6. In your , you should
have only elements (that's what "expecting (sdef)+" means), but
Kiran, the issue is on line 19 of eng-hau.dix:

Remove "dog" and it should work.

Aida,
I think you have to update your CG - either from svn or using Tino's
packages.

Hi,
Thanks for the help. The problem is solved. It occurred because my Makefile
was old.
I don't understand why the word is being shown unknown when it is present
in the dictionary.
This happens at the morphological analyser level too.

Hi Nurendra:
I am checking rev 59135, and it does generate the .t2x.bin and .t3x.bin
files from the .t2x and the .t3x files. And the command
echo आखणी | apertium -d . mar-hin
does work (but the word appears unknown because I cannot paste it
properly, apparently).
Was the problem solved?

I'm merging in some work from a student and the dictionaries compile,

That doesn't give any hits either. (I also tried it without the
backslash, since that would match a starting whitespace on either
side, which i think is what you intended.)
