Hi Adam,
Thanks for your reply. I had some success and have spent the day exploring
our database within Postgres! I re-read the Arches documentation entitled
'Physical Data Model' and looked at your ontology-resources-reference data
figure and now understand that the data is stored in Postgres
Hi Adam,
Yes, we'll be moving Arches-Hip to GitHub as well.
We'll make a quick announcement when that happens.

Good question Lucy - I just installed our own Bing key following Adam's
advice. This was prompted by the fact that our base map intermittently
disappeared over the last two days. By the way Adam, as our team work with
remote sensing imagery a lot, we would like to have the satellite imagery

Hi Richard, that is something that you would set in Arches. It's very
simple:
Open your the media/js/map/base-layers.js file in your app. At the bottom
you should see something like: baseLayers[0].layer.setVisible(true);. The

I am making progress, and re-read the documentation, but I'm not sure
things loaded correctly since I'm not seeing the list based on the sample
authority files in RDM. The were not errors in the authority file log.
This is what I did-

the choices shown in the screen shots shown here:
Hi Cat, the difference is only that you haven't loaded the default
Arches-HIP authority files. Here's some documentation about that:

As you see in the documentation, you can
Hello.
My name is Jae, and I am working at UNESCO office at Kathmandu in Nepal for
the heritage inventory project. I'm only IT guy at culture unit, and I am
totally new to Arches, but I am feeling some gap between people's
expectations of what Arches can do and what Arches does. This year
Hi Cat, I just retraced all of your steps, and things worked out as
expected, so I'm not sure what's going on. It sounds like all of your
files were loaded correctly. I'd only recommend starting the process over
with a new app, perhaps? It's good to be familiar with the install steps
anyway.
Thanks Adam, I copied the files from the ENV location into my project (same
location) and specified that location, then I tried running the command
from my hip project directory, and I'm getting this error

Hmmm, is your virtual environment activated?
