This policy is now in effect. A new version of the ARIN Number Resource Policy
Manual (NRPM) has been published to the ARIN website.

Earlier this year, ARIN implemented security enhancements that included ending
support for TLS 1.0 for Whois-RWS and RDAP services and improving ciphers used
in www.arin.net. As part of our continuing effort to improve security, on or
around 19 February 2021, we will end support for TLS 1.1
The ARIN office will close early on Friday, 4 December. On that day, the main
office, Financial Services Help Desk, and Registration Services Help Desk will
all close at 1:30 PM ET. ARIN’s office will reopen with normal operating hours
(https://www.arin.net/contact/#operating-hours) on Monday
ARIN is pleased to announce that Kevin Blumberg has been reappointed by the
Board of Trustees to the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC)
from the ARIN region. Kevin will begin serving a three-year term on 1 January
2021.

On 5 November, 2020, the ARIN Advisory Council voted to appoint Gary Giesen to
the Advisory Council for a one-year term beginning 1 January 2021. He will fill
the seat being vacated by Tina Morris.
Tina was elected to the ARIN Board of Trustees for a three-year term commencing
1 January 2021
ARIN recently made updates to its software and systems, including ARIN Online.

ARIN updated its Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) service in
December 2019. This update includes adding support for RPKI Remote Delta
Protocol (RRDP). With RRDP, incremental updates to the repository are
now available for retrieval using Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure
(HTTPS
ARIN experienced technical issues with our arin.net website that also
caused caused ARIN Online to be inaccessible on 23 December 2019
starting at 12:35 PM ET. The website was operational as of 4:00 PM ET
and ARIN Online access restored at 5:15 PM. Our automatic alerts
notified ARIN
ARIN is experiencing a technical issue with the hardware supporting the
arin.net website and ARIN Online. ARIN staff are actively working to
resolve the problem, and will provide further updates once resolved.

ARIN periodically reviews available IPv4 address space in inventory (for
example, address blocks that have recently been returned, reclaimed, or
revoked) to determine if any blocks may be released for issuance to
ARIN-approved waitlist organizations. Today, ARIN filled all existing
