you are right. may be it is because it has a ghazal like melody or
that of old era songs that it sounds like an old song. at least now
after visiting all ARR songs for comparison i know that it is not a
stale ARR song.

I completely disagree. Zindagi offers a lot of freshness in terms of
melody and voice intonation. Musically it is subtle, which makes it
unique.
