Is the Advance Search Field usually hidden? I added it and would like to see
it but it's not viewable. (even though the hidden button is not checked).
I'm not having any luck moving the value of the first field into my query. I
keep getting errors. I've tried:
'Supplier Name' = $Supplier

Sorry I have the list set up to send me my own messages and they are not coming
back to me so I though they were not getting through for some reason. Thanks

Is anyone using Altiris as their CMDB discovery tool? if you have integrated
this with Remedy please let me know how it has worked for you..
Wondering if a discovery tool such as Topology Discovery or Tideway needs to
be purchased if we have Altiris.
You can sell and practice theory
In fact, if you are using the user tool, the advanced search field is
not going to display, because it's already there. It's the advanced
bar itself.
I would change your string to:
'Supplier Name' = + + $Supplier Name$ + + OR 'Company
Name 2' = + + $Supplier Name$ + + OR 'Company Name
Is there something in the documentation that discusses this? I would be happy
to refer to it. I looked and can't find anything. Just that the Form Reserved
ID for advanced search field is 1005.

What I know is what I found in previous discussions in ARSList
archive, not sure if there is some documentation about this.

Good afternoon,
This has come up before and I don't think anyone has figured it out yet, but I
thought I'd ask again before I spend a bunch of time trying to figure it out.
Has anyone found a way to directly open a form in SRM without forcing the user
to go to the console and click around a
We used Altiris for a while at one point. From what I recall, we got it to
work OK although not completely issue free. It seems we created some new views
in the Altiris database that corresponded to the CI types and information we
wanted to import into the CMDB and then used (then) EIE to
If it helps, there's already an Altiris to CMDB connector built and available
