From remedy side there is no way you can encrypt the ARSYSTEM tablespace. You
can encrypt Remedy Client -Server communication by using Performance or
premium type encryption (subject to chargeable license :) ) however database
side encryption is something that is taken care by database

I know this is old technology, but I need to install Remedy 6.3 patch 20 on

ensure your sql db is listening on tcp ports...if it's a new install that
may not be turned on, and Remedy requires it...if you can connect to the
server via a native client on the server, you can run a netstat-a which
would tell you what port your client is using to connect

tools on the app server.
