I find the time option on this particularly useful - for when you are in the
process of some sort of system maintenance.. Cool option..

Hi,
The Filter Service Call behavior has been very consistent since the
introduction of Filter Service Calls.
I can see the logic in actually NOT treating it as part of the same transaction.
Since I found out how it worked, I had to redesign our internal RRR invoicing
application, and instead

Yes, that's right we can test this platform either through the User Tool (API),
Mid-Tier or even the GUI. You can even have a mixture of users coming in from
the various communication methods.

Hi Joe,
At this point I have not imported the certificate anywhere and understand the
certificate needs to be imported to the AR Server. Looking for instructions on
how to import the certification and if any config changes are needed.

The Integration Guide for 7.6.04 has information also, but not sure if it is

Everyone,
I apologize in advance, this may be a dumb question that's answered in the

On Solaris it used to be the MAC address with the delimiters stripped out and
the resulting hexadecimal number converted to decimal.
I think it changed to just the MAC address octet without delimiters around
version 5.

The Remedy License Host ID has always been the NIC (MAC) address of the machine
the ARServer is installed on. All Platforms.
If your NIC card needs to be changed or your VM is build with a different NIC,
then the ARS server will need a new license key.

So I am going to therefore say my original statement is correct J
I guess I should have qualified some statements to get the actual MAC
address across platforms, but that's why the list is so good J

You need two databases or database instances for the process I am talking about.
You would then do Delta Data Migrations to the new machine until you are ready

Hi,
If it works in aruser.exe, it should work in Mid-Tier.
Maybe you are having trouble getting your changes out to your Mid-Tier, did

Do you use the Submitter permission group to perform the status change?
