There's plenty of discussion on this, but I think it's safe to say the
norm is to use Computer System and use CTI or the Primary Capability
field to get specific on the type of hardware.

Whereas there is nothing wrong with this solution if it suits the business
you should be aware that discovery tools will put all switchers, hubs,
etc in the Computer System class.

Ouch. Yeah, if you have any interest in Blade/Topology/Configuration Discovery,
take a look at all their documentation about the Remedy integration before
going with custom classes.
